Easy Rustic Elegance Thanksgiving Table
Since Thanksgiving is just around the corner, I thought I would share an easy rustic elegance tablescape for your Thanksgiving table.
I like to think that I am always on top of my game for my Thanksgiving table, but honestly the table is usually set about 5 minutes before my guests arrive. This table arrangement shows that you can easily use many of your everyday pieces paired with a show stopper arrangement, and a few pieces of bling to create a fabulous Thanksgiving Day table.
This year we wanted to break out of the traditional fall color scheme and use a subtle neutral color palette with creams, linens, and soft purples to celebrate Thanksgiving. One of my favorite things that I love about this table setting is the mixture of formal and rustic pieces melding together.
I used my grandmother’s silver along with our stoneware from our pottery line. The formal silver adds the extra shine to the table along with the clear glasses to give it a sparkle effect and keeps it from feeling too heavy.
The pumpkin centerpiece is the show stealer. It subtly brings the color scheme together and adds to that formal/rustic mix.
The arrangement could not be easier to replicate:
I hollowed out a Porcelain pumpkin and used a small vase that sits right inside the pumpkin.
For the flowers I used:
Hydrangeas
Purple kale
Hanging amaranthus
Soft purple roses.
I do suggest that you call your florist to track down the flowers. I happened to find all these beautiful stems right at my local florist.
