How to Determine What Your Interior Design Budget Actually Is

Most people get a bit antsy when we start talking about how much money will be required to accomplish their interior design project. Often, this apprehension comes from unclear expectations about how much their dream design will cost and is only compounded by unclear budgets that make it difficult for a client to know how much they can afford—and how much they actually want to spend.

Knowing this information is key to everyone’s overall happiness! Having a clear and established budget for your project allows us, your interior design team, to create your dream space without the drama and it allows you, the homeowner, to rest easy and truly enjoy the process.

Because we believe in transparency, we’re about to unveil what interior design projects actually cost...

...and the three budgets that most homeowners end up following. For this example, we will price out a traditional living room and a dining room at three different levels.

Note: There are times when we may suggest items that exceed your budget. This doesn’t mean you need to agree with our suggestion. It only means that we want you to be aware of your additional options and that we don’t want to lock you into a certain budget category.
