Distance Design is perfect for the design enthusiast who wants advice from an experienced interior designer without committing to a full-scale contract. If you like to DIY ( Do it yourself) and don’t mind doing a little legwork to prepare, manage, and implement then this is definitely the design service for you. The Teaselwood design team works with you to create a digital design board and shopping list with links, then we turn it over to you to order and install! Everything is done efficiently through email. Depending on scope, the process can go as quickly as 6-8 weeks, 4-6 weeks for the initial design and an additional 2 weeks for revisions and final delivery.

Jump off point to start your design process. Floor plans and design presentation. A scaled floor plan showing where everything can be placed in your space. Presentation with furniture, decor and finishes selections with a short video regarding the thought process behind the design.
Shopping List
We create a shopping list of all the recommend items with links, prices, measurements and more for each selection. You can use this sourcing list to create the exact design, or as your jumping off point to shop other sources for something similar.

2 | We’ll send over an invoice to confirm your session, and once you’re scheduled, we’ll email details for how to measure, photograph, set up your inspiration board in Pinterest, and book the appointment for your virtual design exploration call.
3 | Complete your to do list and share with us.
4 | Our team starts the curation of your room scheme and will have it ready within 4-6 weeks depending on the scope.
5 | You will receive your digital room board and shopping link via email with a box of goodies, swatches and finishes.

What if I do not like the item? We allow for one revision on 3 items. After that it is a flat fee of $100.
Do I have to buy everything on the sourcing list?No it is your road map to help you navigate your design. Find something better or in your price range go for it.
Is the design package returnable? No we have already put in the time and work into your beautiful space.
